The Design Process
Every project at De Terra Designs goes through an extensive design process. Through drawings, models, and digital renderings we are able to bring our clients vision to life all before making the first cut. This process helps clients get exactly what they want, all while reducing material waste.
Drawings
Once inspiration and design ideas are discussed, the drawing process begins! Using computer aided drafting, we create accurate scale drawings of the project ensuring that the design meets our clients vision and fits within the working envelope.
3D Modeling
2D drawings are just the start of the design process. To truly get accurate scale and design elements, 3D models are used.
Digital Renderings
On some projects its necessary to take it even further than the 3D model. With digital renderings, we can better select wood species choice, finish, and hardware for a project. With all 3 elements combined, we can iron out the design all before the sawdust begins.
Final Product
With all of the guess work taken out of the design process, the final product can be exactly what the customer was looking for!
